Membership
Club Membership
Our Club Membership gives you full access to all the club’s facilities, coaching, club competitions and social events. To become a member you would usually have completed our Beginners Course or a similar course elsewhere.
We have annual or termly memberships available for adults, juniors, students and retired. (Junior Membership is age 10-18 years).
Termly prices are based on three terms per year, Sept-Dec, Jan-Mar, April-July.
Membership Fees
Annual Adult £135 | Junior/Student/Retired - £95
Term Adult £48 | Junior/Student/Retired - £35
Prices do not include August, throughout August all members and visitors pay weekly. If your membership has expired you pay the weekly visitors fee.
British Fencing Membership
In addition to club membership it is a mandatory requirement that you take out individual British Fencing (National Governing Body) membership. This provides participants with insurance cover and supports the work done across the UK to sustain, develop and support the sport.
Membership is tiered depending on the level of Fencing or competition you wish to do. Recreational membership is the recommended level for club participation. If you wish to compete in anything outside the club you will need Compete membership.
(If you are not a member of British Fencing, or another National Federation if you are visiting the UK, you are not insured or permitted to fence in affiliated clubs and may be liable for any injuries you may cause to yourself or others.)
