Beginners Course
Course Details
10-12 Week Course - £65 Per Person
Wednesday Evenings 7.30pm - 8.45pm
Age 15 or over, or as a family group - minimum age 10.
Suitable for all levels of fitness and no fencing experience is needed whatsoever!
All fencers aged 14 or under, MUST be accompanied throughout the entire evening by an adult. The supervising adult doesn’t have to be fencing, but must remain in the hall throughout the session.

Introduction to the wider world of competitive fencing
British Fencing Membership
To participate on our Beginners Course it is a mandatory requirement that you take out individual National Governing Body - British Fencing Membership. This provides participants with insurance cover and among other things supports the work done across the UK to sustain, develop and support the sport.
Introduction - This level of membership is FREE for 90 days and is for beginners courses. We will ask you for your BF number later, on joining the club.
*If you are not a member of BF you are not insured and may be liable for any injuries you may cause to yourself or others.
BF membership is taken out directly with British Fencing
What Happens After?
On completion of the Beginners course, you can renew your membership as a full adult or junior member where you will continue your development and join our other club members on the electric pistes, at this point you will need to start purchasing your own kit, our coaches and club members will be more than happy to guide you.
